Happy Thursday Peaceniks. Ready to turn on and tune in?
It’s been a whirlwind. In the last ten days: NY to Denver to NY to Cannes and now back to NYC. And in the in the course of my travels, I mounted the first ever Media Universe Summit; presented my new hour: It’s The Creator Economy Now; moderated a panel on what metrics matter now; interviewed YouTube CEO Neal Mohan; danced on a table with DirecTV; connected with our community on two continents — and recorded FOUR NEW episodes of The Media Odyssey Podcast with next-level guests.
The first of those four traveling pods is the live-on-stage show clipped above with Matthew Henick (who runs Trade Desk’s CTV OS Ventura) and Alan d'Escragnolle (founder of the fascinating FilmHub).

I’m on my way back to NY as I write, then on to LA, then back across to London, and then back to NYC. Yeah, I have to talk to my travel agent — this itinerary is whack.
But, while I pack and unpack my suitcase, I hope you tune into this episode of the pod — where we unpack TV’s new normal. Matthew Henick plans to change TV operating systems for good, despite Marion’s skepticism, while FilmHub is changing the very nature of syndication, with machine learning and a forward-thinking process for getting content to audiences.

To all y’all who came out to the Summit and StreamTV, who I saw on the Croisette in Cannes, who came up to me in person the last two weeks to tell me that they like the content we put out — THANK YOU.
I love what I do. But pounding away at the keyboard in my batcave — or even recording with Marion remotely — gets isolating sometimes. When I get to see you in person and hear that what I do resonates with you, even a little, it means more than I can articulate in this space. Seriously.
Enjoy the weekend!
