Inside Netflix’s 3Q Earnings

Netflix issued its 3Q earnings this week, and it was full of good news… maybe?

They beat estimates for new subs by a LOT: projected to add 1 million subs in 3Q, they in fact added 2.4 million. What’s more, they’re projecting to add 4.5 million in 4Q.

Netflix had HUGE hits in 3Q; which they say drove their success - Stranger Things, The Grey Man, Dahmer and more.

And yet…

The big question really is not whether Netflix can add subs when they have Stranger Things or Squid Game “in season.” We know they can. The question is, can they KEEP THEM.
