A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away… I shared Part I of AMERICANS AT THE MOVIES, a new survey by PCH Consumer Insights of 16,650 Americans on how they see Movies now. In today’s sequel, we dive into the demos, define the differences between Movie-Goers and Movie-Watchers, and offer deeper insight for how platforms, publishers, and theater owners might build new businesses around each type of consumer.
I say new businesses because all data I see clearly indicates that today’s Movie business is no longer a runaway blockbuster.
